B Town Sound Has #1 Hit with Music Studio Inspired Wedding

When Laura and Jim were looking for a venue for their special day, they knew they wanted something unique, non-traditional and intimate.  Their search took them to Burlington, Ontario where they quickly fell in love with the vibe and energy of a gorgeous recording studio and event space called B Town Sound. Before the contract was even signed, the bride was sending floor plans and ideas to create this one of a kind event.
B Town Sound is a working recording studio where some of Canada’s most talented musicians record, but it is also a kitschy and unique event space which offers everything from rock themed events to recording session team building, PopStar kids parties and full buy outs for private events.

For their wedding, Laura and Jim chose the aptly named “Major Artist” event package which offered them a turn key experience that included full service event planning, catering, open bar, rentals and all the resources needed to give them their dream theme wedding. B Town Sound took care of every detail from coordinating the linens, furniture rentals, arranging the DJ and photographer,  set up, catering, lighting and more.
Catering in this space can feature a full served dinner but for their non-traditional wedding, the couple opted for to skip the sit down dinner in favour of self serve food truck service provided by 494 Catering– Beef Sliders, Naan Chicken wraps, Pulled pork and poutine… you get the picture. Skipping the dinner didn’t mean skipping the meal, everyone was well fed and energized to dance the night away.
The venue features fabulous outside space so Laura requested it be transformed with starlit tenting and a place for guests to sit and mingle while they gathered around the food trucks. While guests were outside enjoying dinner, the inside was flipped to a hip music inspired hip reception with DJ Icespic and an “afterparty” vibe.
