One of Vancouver’s most unique spaces is the hip spot called 130 West. It is a unique warehouse venue that is suitable to a broad range of private and corporate events and exhibits. The space boasts a twenty foot room height, wood ceilings, exposed wood beams, a wood floor and tasteful neutral designer finishes throughout. On a day-to-day basis, the venue functions as the showroom of western Canada’s largest event furniture rental company. If the showroom furniture works for your event, you are welcome to use that furniture for your event, at not extra cost.
130 West has been designed and built by event producers who have included a top notch audio and lighting system. Everything has been designed to make 130 West an easy place to load-in, set-up and stage an event. The lighting grid, multiple power ports, 100 amp 3-phase event power, extensive preset wiring, and a large loading bay is designed to support even the most demanding requirements. This is truly a one-of-a-kind venue in Vancouver.
Located 10 minutes from most downtown hotel, near the Olympic Village and a five-minute walk from the Olympic Village Station on the Canada Line, and with plenty of parking nearby, 130 West is central and easy to access. The ground level entrance and handicap facilities make 130 West accessible to the mobility impaired.
The venue can easily accommodate 200 for a cocktail reception or meeting and 120 for a seated meal. Event rental fees include the use of all technical equipment, any furniture in the venue at the time of rental, a lighting/audio technician and an event manager. There are no exclusive vendor relationships (aside from rental furniture).
