On November 23rd, 2016, ILEA Vancouver hosted a unique and exciting chapter event featuring “Experience Activations. The multi venue tour, took guests on a tour of 4 unique venues for some one of a kind educational and networking experiences. The event is just one more example of the ground breaking innovative programming coming out of ILEA Vancouver and why this chapter recieves numerous awards for its work.
The first stop was the Big Rock Urban Brewery and Eatery and UBC for a happy hour kick off at the brewery, then had members jump on a tour bus for some fun networking games, followed by a tour of the UBC venues and facilities. Venues included Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre, Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre and The Nest
Each stop at UBC had various activation stations, with tips and trends from the chefs and hosts, sample goodies, a sake tasting and 3 course sample menu, and even a grad experience! The evening was truly one not to be missed.”
“The venues really stepped up to offer the ILEA Vancouver chapter attendees an outstanding experience coupled with great educational elements” commented Andy Foster, Director of Programs & Education.
