An Enchanted Wedding

Toronto wedding planner, Twelfth Night Events made their client’s dreams come true, literally, with the design of their magical wedding, created out of the couple’s mutual love for Disney’s Rapunzel.

Jennifer & Viraj were wed on July 1st at the Liberty Grand in Toronto. When they first met with Lauren De Koster, Creative Director at Twelfth Night Events, to talk about their vision, they described an event full of colour, light, vibrancy and most importantly, fun. To help them create a masterpiece affair and provide their clients with the fairy-tale wedding they were dreaming of, the team at Twelfth Night Events collaborated with award-winning international designer, Paras Mehta.

Together they transformed the Governors Room and the Artifacts Room at the Liberty Grand into an enchanted wonderland of natural wood, foliage, colorful cascading florals, warm candlelight with the perfect touch of sparkle every bride deserves.

Design highlights of this fairy-tale affair include the Enchanted Mandap, suspended acrylic seating chart, cascading floral compositions, dance floor + bar vinyl treatment and cake, lovingly handcrafted by a special friend of the couple.

Collaboration is the key to a successfully produced event.  For this wedding, the partnership of the wedding planner, event designer, and couple created a unified event vision.  This wedding combined the strengths of several teams to create an experience for guests through textural floral, vibrant colour, lighting design, tiered candle lighting, unique stationery, and strategically placed focal points.  These became the layers to the design that resulted in our dynamic interpretation of the ‘Enchanted’ theme.
