For the fourth year in a row, FOS Decor’s Euphoria Open House brought hundreds of our dearest industry partners and clients together for an incredible celebration of another successful year at FOS. If you attended any of their previous Open House events you know it’s this is one party not to be missed. This is the hottest ticket in town.
This year, FOS drew inspiration from The Great Gatsby, a classic novel set in the 1920s and now one of this year’s most celebrated films. Guests were encouraged to explore the two distinct room designs . In the first room, the incredible live performance of J Stixx and the main bar formed the heart of the scene. A smaller live jazz band kept the energy high, while the galaxy patterns projected on the ceiling and hanging Chinese lanterns gave the space an ethereal touch. To set the mood for a unique night out in the ‘20s, roaming flappers served endless glasses of wine, while pedestalled models and dancing Charlie Chaplins showcased the style of the era.
Separating the rooms was a fog screen on which scenes of the 1949 and 1974 Great Gatsby films were projected; guests had to pass through the fog to enter the draped hallway.
In the back room Tequila Tromba was poured until the bottles were empty, and last year’s popular oyster station was back with a variety of fresh, delicious oyster shots while guest dines on gourmet creative hors d’oeuvres.
