You put everything you have into your events, your clients love it, your team is thrilled. But then what? We think there's one more thing to do…and we want to help you do it!  Enter your BEST events into the BC Event Awards and/or the Canadian  Event Industry Awards (the Star Awards) and get the  recognition your best work deserves. Its easy to enter and its open to everyone.

The Star Awards

The Canadian Event Industry Awards (the Stars) is the only national event industry competition in Canada and anyone can enter as long as the event was put on by a Canadian company or individual. For the 2013 awards, all events must have taken place between Jan 1, 2012 and Dec 31, 2012.  Submissions for the 16th Annual Canadian Event Industry Awards  (The Star Awards) start December 1, 2012 and the application deadline is Friday February 8th 2013. Late entries will be accepted until Friday, February 15th at 4 pm PST if a late entrance fee is paid.

Nominees will be announced on late February and the winners announced at the Star Gala in Toronto on March 22th, 2013.  It’s easy to enter, simply follow the online entering instructions. BC Event Awards

The  BCEA, heading into year four, is designed especially for events produced in British Columbia only, from September 1, 2011 to November 1, 2012. If you feel your event, catering, wedding, launch, fund raiser, corporate picnic, media event, sporting event or decor design was spectacular and worthy of an award, we encourage you to submit your event for consideration. Your do not need to be a professional planner or a member of any organization to enter. You can submit your own events, you don't need to be nominated by someone else. To enter the 2012 BC Event Awards download the application form, review the criteria and enter via email. The application process requires a bio of your event, images and reference letters. If you plan to enter the awards you should begin collecting this information at the time you produce your events.  The entry period opens Sept. 25, 2012 and the entries are due November 30, 2012.
