The historic Windsor Station in Montreal was transformed into a breathtaking venue to celebrate the 100th anniversary of St. Mary’s Hospital. The St. Mary’s Ball, produced by Total Events, welcomed 750 of Montreal’s most distinguished guests for an unforgettable evening of elegance, history, and innovation.
The evening was meticulously crafted to honour a century of exceptional healthcare. From the homage of the custom-printed royal blue carpet that greeted attendees to the stunning replica of the Shaughnessy House gates, the hospital’s iconic entrance from 100 years ago, every detail was a special nod to St. Mary’s legacy and its bright future.
Inside Windsor Station, the transformation was nothing short of extraordinary. The main room was enveloped in royal blue, exuding grandeur and sophistication. At the centre of the space was a cylindrical projection surface, brought to life by captivating projection mapping that told the story of St. Mary’s century-long journey. An LED wall on the main stage served as a dynamic platform for the event content. The dramatic lighting design seamlessly blended nostalgia with modern elegance, creating an immersive environment that captivated every guest.
The evening concluded on a high note with a stellar performance by 1945, one of Montreal’s premier bands, keeping the dance floor packed late into the night. Among the distinguished guests were esteemed medical professionals, community leaders, and the Right Honourable Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who joined in the celebration with enthusiasm.
Total Events approached the St. Mary’s Ball with a deep understanding of the hospital’s centennial significance, ensuring every element told a story of its rich legacy and future aspirations. By blending historical details with cutting-edge technology and flawless execution, the event became a true celebration of St. Mary’s impact on the community.
Being part of such a historic occasion was a profound honour for Total Events, reflecting their commitment to creating meaningful and unforgettable experiences that leave a lasting impression.
