Students at CSE

Student Opportunites

The show supports and encourages event education and recognizes the valuable asset we have in the future generations of event planners. As such we have developed several opportunities for students serious about experiencing CSE EXPO12 to become involved in the behind the scenes workings of the production of the show.

These include:

  • Participating as a School in the Theme Table Design Challenge

  • Volunteering at the Show on Event Days

  • Participating in Pre Event Intern Positions

These opportunities allow students at various levels to become a part of the show, take part at the event and gain valuable insight into the special events industry.

CSE EXPO12 regrettably does not allow non – working students to visit the trade show as individuals, groups or provide work/school field trips to instructors. It is unfortunate that it has become a disruptive situation in past years for exhibitors who have invested a great deal of time and money to meet with prospective buyers and who frown upon the distribution of resumes and requests to participate in "school" assignments or class projects using CSE EXPO12 as a case study. We realize this isn’t a popular decision however, CSE EXPO12 is a private for profit event and isn’t designed as a career fair and our first commitment is to the clients and buyers who make this event possible year after year.

In order to be eligible for admission you must be working in a position at a company or organization where your role involves planning some kind of event or meeting and or executive travel Business ID is required.

We do value the future planners and we believe we have created several rewarding and valuable student programs to allow student access and we look forward to discussing these with you personally or your school coordinator or professor.
