Hôtel de Glace, Where Frozen Natural Beauty Meets Urban Style

With Winter upon us, it seems everyone wants to host a Winter Wonderland-themed wedding these days. The ice-like chandeliers, 2 story-tall white walls, and accent lighting of shimmering jewels like soft blue, purple and pastel pink.

Well, there are some benefits to living in a country with a seasonal cold climate, one of which is the Hôtel de Glace event space located just 10 minutes away from downtown Québec City.

Entirely made of ice and snow, the Hôtel de Glace offers fascinating decor and an experience a traditional event venue cannot bring your guests for obvious reasons. With its magnificent sculptures and majestic ice chandeliers, this castle-like venue offers a romantic chapel along with 44 rooms and uniquely designed suites. The event space has on-site access to a festival ice bar – serving cocktails in sparkling glasses made of ice, restaurants, guided tours and accommodations. It even has an ice super slide that is well-popularized throughout Quebec.

Tin its 16th season, this year’s construction of the Hôtel was inspired by the Rivers theme, taking visitors on a fascinating voyage along imaginary rivers through a world of ice and snow. The Hôtel is open to visitors every day from 10 a.m. to midnight through March 28, 2016.
