Important Message From the Publishers

The virus known as COVID 19 has caused the cancellation of thousands of events worldwide, which has devastated our industry. Colleagues coast to coast have seen massive impact financially and personally as they make the tough decisions that come with this kind of crisis.

This is an overwhelming time, and as leaders in the event industry in Canada for over two decades, we know first-hand the incredible burden these situations can have. We were in business during SARS, Mad Cow, Swine Flu, Ebola, Bird Flu, Mers and, of course, non-medical crisis’ that impacted our programs like the Go train strikes, the storm of the decade, the ice storms and others. But, nothing could have prepared any of us for this.

A few weeks ago, when the scale of this pandemic became clear, we, in consult with public health authorities, our partner Liberty Entertainment Group, our sponsors, exhibitors and participants, decided to shift CSE Live dates from April to June 15-17, 2020. This decision was made then in the interest of public safety and to allow our two thousand + participants to maintain focus on their businesses, families and personal health.

Today, it is a different story as federal regulations now mandate the rules around gatherings’ hosting. We know that June is likely too early. We want to assure you that as this evolves, we will keep a close watch and continue to plan the event over the next few months, building toward a show that will be there when the clouds clear and the industry comes back together as a group to start the move forward.

In the meantime, over the next few weeks, we will be rolling out some exciting new feeds and offerings designed to keep you feeling positive, to help you pass the days and weather this storm.

We are here if you need anything from advice to social support to the sharing of important information, just reach out.

Visit www.cselive.ca for updates and information. We look forward to seeing you soon.
