Innovation and creativity are the cornerstones of business for Toronto based Event Designer, Craig Gruzd (DT Floral & Décor Inc) and Olga Pankova, Art Entertainer. The dynamic duo held their first ever special event showcase on June 28, 2016, at the Arta Gallery in the Distillery District. This exciting evening was designed as a show and tell to promote new and innovative products and services, catering to the event industry. The theme of this event was “illumination”.
Surprises popped up throughout the event including a Virtual Reality Art Performance by Olga. The HTC VIVE system was the backbone of Olga’s performance and Google Tilt Brush was the application of choice for her painting platform which she used to meld the analog and digital worlds and made imagination become reality on a 19′ x 16′ LED screen. Romeo Loparco, Executive Producer at Freeman Audio Visual who collaborated with Olga in this groundbreaking performance which left guests awestruck and inspired, noted by Craig, “There is no limit on what we can design for Olga’s VR performances, wait till you see what we do next together”.
