Vancouver-based award-winning producers MVKA Productions have been extremely busy this season adding their signature sparkle and glitz to some of Vancouver’s most prestigious events.
For the 5th consecutive year, MVKA Productions partnered with Canuck Place Children’s Hospice to produce the 2009 Gift of Time Fundraising Gala. Held at The Westin Bayshore Hotel, the elegant décor featured dazzling, custom-designed chandeliers, white velour room surround, starcloth backdrop with a plum organza overlay, crisp white linens and Lucite chivari chairs-all creating a starlight ambiance. MVKA produced the 23rd annual BC Children’s Hospital Foundation Crystal Ball in the Park Ballroom at The Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver. They created an elegant, crystalline atmosphere that brilliantly realized this year’s theme of “Luminescence”, and honoured the recent passing of key Committee member, Lynda Perry. Warm lighting, a crisp wall surround with gobo projections, custom chandeliers, mauve pintuck overlays, crystal chivari chairs and beautiful centrepieces of floating white lilies in tall vases provided the sparkling setting.
