AVW Telav to Change Name

CANADA’S PREMIER/LEADING AUDIO VISUAL PROVIDER, AVW-TELAV, CHANGES NAME TO FREEMAN AUDIO VISUAL

AVW-TELAV Audio Visual Solutions, Freeman’s audio visual business in Canada, today announced it will change its brand name to Freeman Audio Visual, a change that better represents alignment with Freeman’s entire audio visual offering. The new name is the result of the combined resources from TELAV Audio Visual Services and AVW, two previously acquired North American audio visual solutions providers, and better positions Freeman Audio Visual to address customers’ needs in Canada.

“Today we are extending the “Freeman” brand further into Canada,” said Ken Sanders, President of Freeman’s Audio Visual business. “By aligning our brands, we reinforce our reputation for consistent, best-in-class service across all of our markets. We believe this change will provide even more opportunities to deliver on our commitment to provide the exceptional solutions that our customers have come to expect from Freeman, and support their needs wherever they go around the globe.”

“We are very excited about the opportunities to align our brands and reinforce to our customers the significant resources we can bring to our customers in Canada,” said Johanne Belanger, President, Freeman Audio Visual in Canada. Existing clients will see no change in their working relationships with their AVW-TELAV account teams. The integration of the two business brands will enable clients to explore the company’s more tightly integrated range of Freeman resources — from products and services, to the expertise of personnel, and the geographic reach of its locations. Audio visual and presentation technology solutions remain a key component of the company’s resources.

The audio visual operating entities will remain intact, with Ken Sanders leading the Freeman Audio Visual business units worldwide and Johanne Belanger continuing to lead the Canadian audio visual division, under Ken’s direction.
