When Live Nation throws a party, you know it’s going to be lit. Industry Underground 2024 at Revival Venue this past August on the event of CMEE, brought together the event industry’s best to celebrate community, creativity, and collaboration in a setting that blended historic charm with modern energy.
Revival Venue, with its raw, rock-and-roll vibe, served as the perfect backdrop for the event. Located in a transformed 1900s church, the venue seamlessly merges its historic architecture with contemporary style. Exposed brick walls, soaring 18-foot ceilings, and a striking 40-foot concrete bar created an atmosphere reminiscent of an exclusive backstage pass. The main floor, which accommodated 350 guests, and the underground space, hosting an additional 150, added to the venue’s dynamic appeal.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted by Kayla Landry, Special Event Sales Manager at Live Nation Canada, who set the tone for the night by handing out secret keys. These keys weren’t just for show; they unlocked divine experiences and as the evening unfolded, attendees used their keys to engage in the event’s interactive elements, keeping everyone involved and excited from start to finish.
One of the night’s highlights was a game hosted by Food Dudes. Attendees with keys were invited on stage to participate in a fun true-or-false game about companies events. Two winners, who answered correctly, walked away with a private dinner for eight.
The entertainment lineup was stellar, keeping the energy high all night long. Rock The Stars took the spotlight with live band karaoke, letting attendees showcase their vocal talents in front of an enthusiastic crowd of their peers (can you imagine? So brave!).
Meanwhile, Baby Q’s tunes on the main floor, and sets by Pat Makes Music and RobDeep downstairs, turned the venue into a vibrant party that felt like the hottest club in town.
As guests continued to use their their keys, they unlocked more exclusive experiences like access to an underground champagne lounge, participation in lip-sync battles for concert tickets and scoring awesome merch.
A Live Nation event never disappoints with prizes and Industry Underground followed suit BIG time with Billie Eilish concert tickets from Maple Leaf Sports Entertainment, a catered dinner for eight from Food Dudes, and a luxurious Michael Kors backpack from House of MC Sourcing, Swarovski travel tags, Usher concert tickets, and a one-night stay at the Westin Harbour Castle.
Whether guests were mingling in the underground lounge, competing in games, or belting out karaoke tunes, Industry Underground 2024 was all about celebrating the heart of the event industry: connection, creativity, and community. This night wasn’t just another event; it was a reminder of why we do what we do. Here’s to many more nights like this one.
“It was great meeting so many professionals, especially as a young person in the event industry. We got to connect, have fun, and even get on stage. It wasn’t too formal, which made it even better,” shared Tyno Nguyen, capturing the essence of the night.
